Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam houses one of the most diverse art collections in the Netherlands, from medieval art to contemporary installations. The museum, opened in 1935, attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors annually.

Berend Strik is represented in the permanent collection of Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen with several works that reflect his experimental approach to sculpture and installation art.
The collection includes Tanzania, Franschhoek, Tourette House Interior 3 and 4, Duo, and Duw 1. Several works are currently in storage but are part of the permanent collection. The museum, designed by architect Joep van der Leeuw, is one of the most important cultural monuments in the Netherlands.
